Craft Fair

This year's annual Student Craft Fair will take place on Tuesday, June 12th from 2:30 - 3:30 P.M.  The Craft Fair will be open to classrooms only from 2:30 - 3:00, then the gates will open and the event will be open for parents, families and friends to shop until 3:30 P.M.  Students wishing to participate as a seller at the Craft Fair will need to get a permission slip from their teacher, fill it out, and turn it and a sample of their craft for approval to the Student Council meeting on Tuesday, May 29th between 3:10 - 3:40 P.M.  A copy of the Craft Fair rules/guidelines and the permission slip are linked below for download. 

*Please note:

• Edible items, such as candy, will not be permitted to be sold,
• All permission slips and samples must be turned in at the meeting on May 29th.  Anyone who is unable to attend the meeting should make arrangements to have their permission slip and sample approved prior to that date.  No late submissions will be accepted.

Dear Nixon Families,
Thanks to your overwhelming support and collections from your many sponsors we raised over $27,000 in support of Nixon Academy!!!!  The money you raised will help purchase new and updated technology that will be put into the classrooms and your children's hands to enhance their learning.  Funds are also used to help support many other school programs and school safety.  We thank you and all of our community members who gave their time and support to this year's Jog-A-Thon.  Student Council is very proud of this event and the difference we are all able to make for our school!!
